AliMed Grip Splint therapeutically positions wrist, hand and fingers and is particularly helpful post-stroke. Positions wrist in neutral, with fingers held in relaxed position midway between flexion and extension. Includes adjustable Kydex shell, two Ethafoam cylinders and a three-part soft goods set. Select cylinder size (1-3/8" or 1-3/4" diameter) that is most comfortable for user. Slide cylinder onto hand post and apply larger hand cover provided with splint. Smaller cover is used only when finger contracture is too severe to accommodate a cylinder. In such cases, the padded smaller cover is applied directly to the hand post with user's hand against the padded surface. To complete application, apply wrist cover and position the hand and wrist. Hook-and-loop straps. One size. Right.
