The #2 Ascender is intended for climbing ropes and pack hauling by mountain climbers and cavers. It is NOT intended for litter raising or the support of more than one person or for self belay. It features an aluminum shell, spring loaded forged aluminum cam and is intended for 7/16″ (11 mm) and 1/2″ (13 mm) ropes. Can be converted to a free running cam by removing the connection pin on the cam. Made in the U.S.A.
