This is a plantar fasciitis night splint.
Plantar fasciitis is a common condition that causes pain in the heel and arch of the foot, often feeling worse after periods of rest, such as when waking up in the morning. The night splint is a medical device worn on the foot and lower leg while sleeping to gently stretch the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon.
