This book is a gem for golfers (in general) and for anyone who has played a round at the Pinehurst courses (in particular). It’s the story of how a desolate area in the backwoods of NC became the Cradle of American Golf. Illustrated profusely with c/b/w photos and illustrations. Softcover originally published by the other in 2014, this edition was reprinted in 2023. Clean, bright pages with no writing, no folded pages, no owner name. Oversized, measuring 10” x 8”, 208 pages. I find 2 copies for sale ($50 and $121). The front cover shows a few gentle folds and the covers show some smudging from handling. Ships in a box, protected with bubble wrap. (SW2)
