Rattlesnake Annie & Michal Tučný, Tučňáci
Anka Chřestýš & Poslední Kovboj
(Supraphon / 1113 3274 / 1983 / CS)
"Rattlesnake Annie," a female country singer-songwriter of Cherokee descent, gained attention thanks to Willie Nelson. While her sales in her home country were poor, her political message was supported in Europe, and she was the first female country musician to tour Eastern European countries. This album was recorded in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, with the support members of her tour.
This is essentially a duet with "Michal Tučný," who was called the "Father of Country Music" in the Czech Republic. She performs her representative songs, such as "Goodbye to a River," in a mix of English and Czech.
Czech Supraphon original.
Both the jacket and the disc are in good condition.
Plays well.
