Sweetgrass Round Earring

Sweetgrass baskets are a significant part of South Carolina history and heritage. These baskets are handcrafted daily, and the craft has been handed down from generation to generation. This craft was brought over to the US by African slaves from the West Coast of Africa in the late 17th century. This craft is still practice today in the Lowcountry SC, mainly the Charleston area. SWEETGRASS ROUND EARRINGS The Sweetgrass Round earrings are handmade by me with only the Sweetgrass. This earring can be worn with any outfit and on any occasion. It is great to wear to church, a wedding, or dinner. It can be paired with some Sweetgrass bangle bracelets or the Sweetgrass Cuff Bracelet. SIZE AND DIMENSION: This earring is made in 5 sizes. Each size measurement represents the diameter of the earring (width). X- Small ( 3/4- 1 inches) = $20 Small ( 1 ¼ - 1 ½ inches)= $27 Medium (2- 2 ½ inches) inches) = $38 Large (3- 3 ½ inches) = $58 X-Large (3 ¾- 4 inches) = $78 EARRINGS MATERIAL: Fishhook ear-wire (nickel free) ** If you need another type of ear-wire hook such as stainless steel or sterling silver, please send me a message about this before you purchase. Otherwise, you earring will be made with the nickel free ear-wire hooks. ** This earring is made to order, so it can take me between 2- 10 days to complete it.
