This authentic Bells of Sarna solid brass bell is a mid-century "Story Bell" imported from India by S.S. Sarna. Known as a Garden Bell, this piece features deep kalamkari floral engravings accented with original hand-painted enamel. According to Sarna tradition, these bells were rung to please garden spirits and bring the peace of nature into the home. It has a sturdy ring handle and the original heavy metal clapper that produces a loud clear tone. The interior is stamped Bells of Sarna India. It has a wonderful heavy weight and warm aged character perfect for a vintage collection.

This bell is in good vintage condition with a natural aged patina. The interior maker's mark is clear. The enamel highlights remain visible within the etched pattern. The brass shows minor surface wear consistent with its age, but there are no cracks or dents.
