This is a retired William Penn High School ring. The center registers as ruby which could be simulated or ruby glass. Size 6.
We do not think this is silver, but a base metal alloy. It is non magnetic but it doesn’t show the silver marks because the ring was resized.
We do not do silver test on school rings, most people buy them for the stone, which this one registered on gem tester as noted in pic. The school closed in 2009 and was purchased for $14 million by Temple University.
