You haven’t heard my best record yet.
But if I had quit,
you never would.
Why keep going when it feels like nothing is working? Why continue after years of trying, doubting yourself, and wondering if you’re even meant for this?
Because one day, you might create something that truly matters.
You could make a song that becomes part of someone’s memories. A record that helps someone through heartbreak, brings people together, or soundtracks the best moments of their lives. You never really know the impact your work might have.
When Avicii made Levels, he probably had no idea he was creating one of the most iconic dance records ever. He was just in the studio, experimenting like every other day.
That’s what keeps me going when things get difficult — the potential.
There were times I slept on the floor of the studio because I couldn’t even get approved for an apartment. There were moments where nothing seemed to be moving forward. But what pushed me through was the belief that there was still something inside me worth discovering.
And I believe that exists in everyone.
Most people quit before they ever find out what they’re truly capable of. But if there’s even a chance that your best work is still ahead of you, then it’s worth continuing.
Because you haven’t heard my best record yet.
But if I give up, you never will.
